Better than hoped for

I go to tourists traps with modest expectations. Giorgos & Albert impressed - on a number of levels. They really looked after us, the place was pictur?-postcard perfect and the breakfasts were as good as the view. Go early before the tourist season really starts & you won't regret it

Perfect stay!

I stayed at Ikastikies in late October and had a perfect week! Giorgios and Albert were very welcoming, friendly and helped with whatever questions I had. I can higly recommend a stay at Ikastikies! It?s just lovely!

It's all about people!

Probably the most divine oasis on earth! Absolutely perfect in every aspects and every details. Most of all we met authentic people and beautiful human beings. A lovely stay with a personal touch.

In the years of experience of traveling and staying in different hotels, nothing compares to the level of hospitality, professionalism, confort and view that my wife and I have experienced while staying at Ikastikies suites in Santorini, Greece. From the very beginning, regardless that our ferry was approximately 4 hours late arriving we were greeted and welcomed with smiles. Our staff, particularly Giorgos, was very friendly and personally showed us our suite (Sophia Cave suite) which was very spacious and comforting after a long trip. There was a small common area shared with 2 other guests which included several sun beds and a small pool that was shaded with a customized outdoor shade. As you walked inside our suite, it opened up to a very spacious living area with a small kitchenette to the left. As you proceeded inside, the master bedroom had a circular window or opening in which a sliding sheer curtain from within the room could be drawn for added privacy. As you preceeded further and to the left was a closet and the bathroom contained dual sinks with plenty of shampoos and body washes contained in stylish packaging. Along sided the bedroom was a dual shower head and small bench-like spot where you and sit. There was also a small rectangular window that could open up within the shower area and pier inside the bedroom. There was also an upstairs mezzanine like sleeping area just above the master bedroom where two twin beds were located. Every morning we were greeted with breakfast that include a variety of meets, sunny side eggs, toast sweet breads, fruits, cheeses, and coffee and orange juice. I have to say was breakfast was not only delicious, but plentiful. Again staff was very friendly and very helpful in getting to know the surrounding area and/or recommending places to visit or eat. I would definitely stay here again and definitely recommend to everyone.

Memorable Stay

Had an overall great stay. Everything was perfect. George was very prompt in responding to emails and helped with hotel and car rentals. Albert was also very efficient, helpful and alert to your every need. Breakfast was simple but complete with delicious pastries, eggs, fruits, vegetables, yogurt, juice and cold cuts. We stayed in Rosa suite and it was more than enough space for my family. Suite was also very clean. Enjoyed watching the sunset from the hotel balcony. Firostefani was only a short walk to Fira but honestly a more peaceful retreat from all the crowds. Thank you Ikastikies for a memorable stay.

Great stay!

We loved the hotel. The location is perfect, very close to the Firostefani square which is reachable by cars. Hotel surrounding is beautiful. We stayed in the Rosaki room, which was great, with a small shaded balcony with wonderful views of the caldera and Firostefani. We also saw the Rosa room, which is larger, and can accomodate more people, but we chose Rosaki for the balcony where we could have our delicious breakfast served every morning! There is also a small pool that is shared between 3 rooms. Giorgos (the manager) is very nice and accommodating, and the staff are aslo super helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and would love to come back myself.

Loved this hotel!!

Lovely location-Albert is awesome!!

Was disappointed that the heat pump didn't work but Albert saved the day by bringing us an oil heater. Was the most $$ hotel we stayed at and one of the nicest but some of the standard comforts I expected were lacking. Albert was wonderful!!

Nothing much to comment on beyond my Trip Advisor review. It would have been useful to have some information in the room on activities to do on Santorini and recommended restaurants, even though these can be provided verbally. Also a list of the TV stations.

in room Ostria it would be appreciable to have dedicated sand beds in the swimming pool area

Loved this Hotel a LOT!!!

Very helpful and cheerful staff. The best Sunset view in Santorini, much better than Oia. I would definitely come back!!!!
